Has HFS put all of its prices up?
More than 64% of our prices remain unchanged. We have simply increased prices where we have been forced to accept the price increases from our manufacturers and suppliers. We are working hard to reduce or maintain prices on our popular products wherever possible. This includes our range of Essentials products where price and value has helped us to establish this range as a market leader recognised by our customers
What is the reason for these price increases?
The last 12 months has delivered unprecedented turmoil across the supply chain servicing the Educational Resources sector. Regrettably we have seen unprecedented price increases from many of our manufacturers and suppliers and therefore we have had to adjust our prices. The increases are being driven by energy costs, fuel costs and reduced raw material availability which is having a significant impact on the products that we provide to you. This situation has intensified with the conflict in the Ukraine and while we can confirm that none of our suppliers are based in Russia and that we are not aware of any products we offer to you originating from Russia, the impact on the wider supply chain has been substantial as whole continents seek alternatives to Russian suppliers.
When will these price increases come into effect? There will be some limited price increases on a small number of products from 7th January. The new prices will be available on www.hfs.co.uk
Will you adjust your prices again if suppliers put their prices down? Yes, please be assured that we are doing our very best to supply you with key products at the best prices available and as always our deliveries remain free to all our valued customers at this difficult time.
